Don't force it, it will break.
Don't be gentle with it, it will still break.
Heck don't even look at it angrily or it will break.

well so ive lernt..
if i try to take them apart they will break
if i look at them wrong they will break
damn i think there starting to crack now!!! Haha!

Ill try with some heat.. But heating them up do you mean putting them in an oven at 70deg or something or with a heat gun around the edges??

Should i be trying to take the plastic cover off first? It seams its just held on around the edges and not too deep with glue?? With a scalpel possibly??

and yess.. as you may tell i havnt done this sorta work before as my expertise usually invloves a grinder and a hack saw Knock Knock

grinder and hacksaw won't do you much good unfortunately Smile

Best bet is a hair dryer if your missus has a good one, on full blast or so... and carefullllyyyy work around it with a small plastic blade or something like that.
I've seen them pop in the oven, they're not as resilient as headlights.

ALL OF THE ABOVE FELLA.............. Nervous Nervous Nervous Nervous

a right royal PITA to do.!!
if you ARE gun ho on trying this....................................... (a few tips )

1 side lights in an oven will fit..........garnish will not .
2 a heat gun WILL distort the plastic before you can pull it apart !! (will not work )
3 all 3 parts have like "hook barbs" all around the 3 units with that black shit in there to hold them tight
(this is what breaks them when you try..!! )
4 the garnish has the same AND is glued where the hole is for the key opener for the boot..!!
5 i use my BBQ . 6 burner big sucker ! you have a VERY FINE flash point between just enough heat
to pull said parts ,apart and melting the fkn lot..!!!!
6 the bottom of a s1 or s2 garnish has metal PINS that hold the 2 pieces tightly together..!!
these have to be removed before you start to heat anything up.!!
when they let go they bolt anywhere, and very thin / small . so will have to clamp the front/ rear
together until silicon is set dry..!
7 the "wings" on the side lights ,that fit into the boot, and not seen when boot is down WILL DISTORT.!!

still want to have a go fella..........(good luck.!! ) nick... Sad Sad
