Yeah, not trying to put you off your path Benny.. Just hopefully you're being realistic in a) It's not the best drift platform in the world.. and b) getting it even reasonable is going to require an absolute insane amount of work.
Regarding weight, I have the amp and stacker out of the back and that lot is only about 10kg (unfortunately).
The looms running to the back of the car.. There is quite a sizable amount of wiring there that could be removed assuming you don't want Power Seats, Audio or the stock remote central locking. (The antenna for the remote is in the boot too)
There will be wires required ie the brake lights and fuel control, but much of the wiring from the front footwell backwards could be cut out.
Beyond that, plexiglass windows and fibreglass panels (and bootlid/bonnet) is going to be your major weight saver.
And everything is going to need to be custom made because unlike 180s etc this stuff isn't commonplace. It all comes down to how much are you willing to spend? _________________

New 1992 Aristo Project
Appreciate the concerns guys, but i'm really looking to make this work. It will be the only one drifting in Australia for a long time imo and thats how I want it. But it's gonna take me a while to build Got no license as of monday week so it's gonna be a 12-24 month project(yes highly illegal traffic offense LOL).
Daniel thats tuff. Definately gonna need a drive this week What fmic you goin with?
manual - Yeah I was thinking about that handbrake issue... With the new setup I'd just get rid of it. requires re-wiring of everything but I gotta make this work man!!
Rustizzle - Ofcourse it's not the best! It's heavy, really long and automatic! It will be adapted though and made suitable. The amount of work, as I said, will be covered in the amount of time I have to work on it. I'll have a thread about it as soon as it gets bought.
Don't need power seats, need some audio but i'll wire that myself, will keep remote central locking, I love the stuff. How much in total do you think it would be?
Fiberglass panels will be going on wherever they can basically... cf hood/boot/maybe doors if I'm keen enough. I'm happy with custom made. Means it hasn't been done before eh?!!! Willing to spend whatever it takes. My pocket is going to hate me, as is my social life LOL.
xscape - purist? Not a fan of chasers..
aristodan2jz - PM me with how
Power will be a be a big key in the build. Looking for 330-350rwkw. Haven't done the research on how to achieve this easily yet. I'm assuming it can be.. The 2j is just a solid powerhouse..
