Any tips on polishing alloy? Ive done the autosol and hand polish a few times on mine but the rim needs something more to get the lip polished better.

Thinking I need something run up off a power drill - are there any polishing attachments that peeps can suggest to use?

Didn't consider wet and dry, figured it would scratch it too much for the polish to take out. Guess I just need to get some super fine stuff.

Cheers

SSR proffesors, the edges are not as shiny as they used to be Sad it has a cloudy look to it, whereas the spoke faces are brilliant and shiny still

I have just used that California Purple polish, but the edges didn't really change, still has an oxidised look to it.

Now the purple polish says you can use the oxidser treatment first, then follow with the P Polish, but can the oxidiser treatment be used on these type of rims (do they have a special coating that it will strip?)? Confused

Any ideas ? I was thinking autosol but thought it may be too abrasive Nervous
