Whats everyone use to polish there metal/stainless steel parts. I have used a bit of autosol but is this more of a cleaner than an actual polisher. Whats best to get it mirror shiny?

Autosol to get all the blemishes off.. then Purple polish, (the company that makes purple polish does have a deoxiser you can use prior to the Purple polish)

Anyone else notice that the purple polish gets an even greater shine a few hours - day after in has been done:???:
