Ok I Bought a OBX-R Tomcat a couple back it arrived and I installed it was A bit of a Newburn aaarrrgh!! But in the end I got it to fit sweet and I can confirm OD button works sweet.

I bought a carbon fibre looking one to match my trim.

"Simple as yeah right" Suprised
Cut and splice OD button wires to OD wires
Solder and heat shrink making sure wires don't foul with shifter.
Cut shaft garnish to size
Lower Shift Knob and Tighten small grub screws
Lock garnish onto bottom of shift knob and enjoy

Quite a Easy Knob to use, not so easy to fit, I can provide a full 'how to write' if anyone wants as I have taken plenty of photos.

To be Honest I would keep this knob overall it shits all over the OEM knob, but ill be moving to a JZS161 gated shifter custom fitted, but for now I'm happy with the Tomcat
