I can't find it in the gs300 owners manual Pdf, do you just remove the B pillar trim then pull it off? Or is there a cover that needs to come off, that covers a few bolts?

A pillar trim...
no.. you just grab it around the middle and pull lol
the bottom bit 'slides down' behind the dash about an inch, and I think the top you need to hook out a little.. but if you release it from the clips in the middle you can work it around and get the ends out. _________________

Heyas,
Sorry to bring thread back from dead but I cant find a picture anywhere of the A pillar trim off an jzs147/GS300 anywhere. Im surprised that there are no pics/posts on A pillar guage installs for aristo!
Anyone have pics of the A Pillar trim? Or with A pillar and trim off? I just dont want to "pull from middle" and have anything break!
go easy bloke....old...and plastic dont go together...
you will have to start at the "center pillar" and remove top seat belt mount . then this runs up to just behind the pillar and "tabs" just under the trim running down the back door.!
start here and just pull away the back door roof trim , so you remove the frt door trim and lift up and away as you work towards the a pillar trim.... (all one piece )
obviously remove/ pull away all the rubber "sleeving" around the trim/door closers all this is just "clipped"
push fit into place ! and as rusty p has said the larger piece running down the a pillar fits DOWN around the 2 to 3 inch mark behind the dash..! good luck . i did snap a couple of push in / mounting clips when i removed mine. glued them back on , so no rattles..! nick .
