Rota GTR-D 18x12 ET20 in back. Note that car sits on jack. Jack is not lowered down. Oh and tyres: 265/35-18

9,5 ET12 in front was perfect! (didnt take picture of it. Sorry)

You guys are always so tight about this tire stretching haha LOL

Look about it this way: aggressive wheels+skinny tires+camber=less traction. So more skidding action and cheaper tires. Plus with semi high hp Aristo you can't blow your auto if you don't have anyyy traction Razz

hey guys i am a noob for fitment. I have a first gen aristo that has stock suspension aside from some lowering springs that drop it about 1 to 1 1/4 inches. I am looking at picking up some varrstoen es2.2.2 wheels that are front: 18x9.5 (+12) and rear: 18x10.5 (+15). I am wondering if these will stick out from the fenders for miles unless i make huge camber adjustments, lowering, and heavily rolled fenders.

Well the fronts will be a tight fit under compression stroke when natural in-cambering happens, but the rears will still stick out ~1"+... You can only make them fit with stretched tires (F:225-235/R:245-265 depending on manufacturer) and maxing out the stock camber adjustments (only few degrees neg with stock ride height), fronts fenders may clear without work but the rears will def need a cut & heavy roll at least.

Here's an example:
255 Toyo on a 10,5" -7 and couple neg degrees of camber, so 22mm outer than your rear spec.

225 Nankang on a 9,5" +7 maybe 4-6 degrees of neg camber, so 5mm outer than yours.

Hey guys

Wondering if some 18x9.5 offset 25p all round will fit 96 aristo

And also, with a set of HSD coilovers, will i be able to get 18s tucking without going too low? or will i need 19s

These wheels with gold spokes

i ended up scoring some work euroline dh for $500. Rims specs are 18x8.5 (+30), 18x9.5 (+38 ). They currently have some shot 245/40/18, 225/40/18's on them with the wide tires strangely mounted on the 8.5 inch rims and the narrow 225's on the 9.5 inch rim. My Aristo almost sits at stock height (one inch lower). I threw the rims on and the wheel gap and fender gap seems much larger than stock. Im thinking of mounting 225/45/18 with 245/45/18. I think the larger profile will fill the gap around the bumpers and im planning on lowering soon after i replace some bushings. any input on fitment with these larger profile tires?

youd want a 40 profile to keep the speedo in check. these cars have really big arches, even 19s look too small sometimes, with an 18 its going to look undersized, but considering your still way too high (ride height) its just going to look unusual, when u get it lowered, itll look better....

but a 40 profile is wat ur after!

Hrmm I'd disagree Soti (Respectfully of course)
I personally run over-profile tyres to "fill the arches better" with no issues. I had to pull the front guard liners out however, cos they scrape.

Yes it throws the speedo out, but mine was reading a touch low anyway. Now it's pretty much spot on again Smile ahaha
It really depends how much you care about your speedo being accurate. Going up a profile will put give you around 7% or so on your speedo reading (you'll be going faster than it says you are).

Will they fit ? and clear big brakes ?

First will fit with no guard mods, and fit pretty ok, fronts might be a little far in.

Second will fit well, maybe a light roll on the fronts.

As for brakes, all depends on the wheels themselves, couldn't tell you off specs alone.

after reading the above i think the fronts will be fine as well. might get the lip rolled anyways. but if i dont get a better answer by the wheels whores on here Razz ill deff hit you up ella Thumbs Up
