Had a little fun with the stock airbox. I wanted that whole ARC style open panel filter look, without having to spend any money. So I attacked the box with the grinder, and came out with this.
I removed the metal tabs from the lid on the airbox that usually hold in a filter, and used them as clips to hold the filter in place. Worked perfectly! Theres 2 tabs on the bottom you cant see as well

get the grinder back out and attach it again, the box still has 2 partitions in it, remove the fwd partition with the grinder! ill try n draw it!!

so thats the stock airbox....
youve taken the front bit out....but see how theres double walls, get rid of that too!
where those internal ribs meet the outer edge, use that line to cut out! dont go too deep tho!

No don't delete those.. Keep them in place.
They are there to prevent turbulence within the intake.

i thought they resonance box to stop induction noise, not create laminar flow...
