question!... is anybody running a FMIC without the grill in the bumper cut out? ill be putting a front mount on my aristo this winter, but i dont want to cut out those black plastic inserts.. i know its doable, ive seen some aristos/gs300 running a fmic with the bumper uncut, i just wanted to know the dimensions of the intercooler

thank you in advance!

Both the Blitz drag spec and greddy r-spl kit using 600x300x115 core don't require any cutting at all. Take 1/4 of the time to install compared to ls kit and work twice as well. But at least $1k dearer.

Trick is they have angled outlets for both better flow distribution and fitment.

ive trimmed my lower grille, its still there, but youll struggle to get a fmic in there with zero trimming of anything, ARC is a very tight fit.

just paint the intercooler black and position and trim as necessary...can be made to look very sleeper.

You can also space the grille out to suit the FMIC and its unnnoticable. I just made up little aluminium z brackets to push the grille out about 20mm.

The Greddy LS fits with hardly any cutting of the bumper if you know what ya doing seems every tech day in SA we do a Greddy LS fit up honeslty not Hard....hellz as Gerardo said the bigger 115mm intercoolers even fit its just a matter of taking your time and only removing small amounts of bumper at a time with a dremel or angle grinder preferably dremel and come up with a clean install.
