In the latest issue of High Performance Imports, No.85 there is an interview with the head of Junction Produce, Mr. Takahiro Taketomi, who is credited with starting the VIP style otherwise known as "Bippu".

It's an interesting read and there are some great photos of the JP Nissan President F50.

There's also an explanation of the "Fusa" and Kiku Knot.

Look for the mag at your local newsagent:

You can download the article here:

PS. There is no Aristo, Lexus, Nissan President, VIPstyle content on the accompanying DVD.

Cheers,

Peter

I couldn't place it so didn't identify it, but, yes, that is one nice looking car (in black, of course!)

Cheers,

Peter

The car featured is the new LS460, once very hot car.

I meet with the Taketomi San when I was in Japan a couple of months ago spend an entire day with the guys at Jucntion Produce. There are some very hot cars sitting in the JP garage including a JZS161 and a hot as S Class Merc. Even in Japan these cars turned heads while we cruised around Oaska.

Here are some Pics from Junction Produce, there not the best, all the cars were very close together and it was raining so it was hard to get good pics of the whole cars. I do have some better ones but there on a memory car which seems to not want to work.

Our cima for a day.

I was having a squizz at Auction sheets today and thought I'd add some of the Bippu currently for sale in Japan.

Most of which are unfortunately ineligible for import - except the Cima Smile

Checkit:

Bippu 161:

Bippu Celsior:

Bippu President:

Bippu CIMA:
