Okay here's a little test to see how smart we all are.

I'll explain a little more once I get a few replies to this thread.

Please watch this work safe video in the link below, and tell me what is wrong with the clip.

Okay I'll narrow it down a bit.

It has to do with the sound Smile

Ben, try without TS or Citrix Smile

Bah okay I'll give it away.

The car is a Civic, which would have a 4cyl engine. The engine noise is of a straight 6. And those in the know, would pick it as a 2JZ, which has a different note to a RB26.

The video was posted on another forum, and somebody said it sounded like a Supra (which it does). Then a heap of people said that a 4cyl could sound like that if you did a cam, blah blah.

Here's the original clip that shows the car still has a 4cyl, and the sound isn't dubbed:

its been dub'd....
if you look carefully you can see the front lift (as a FWD does under alot of power).
if you listen carfully you can hear the boost ramp up, the way a BIG turbo does.
but they arnt in sync.

that motor in the honda is a d15, which sounds like farting in a tin can (trust me i know, i have its bigger brother the B16, did someone say Vtek). yes it was turbo but no way in hell it sounds like that.

big turbo on a 2jz....in a mk3 surpa Razz
