Anyone have these fitted onto their aristo? I was offered by my fren of these wheels which is 18x8 all around fitted with 235/40/18 at the front and 275/35/18 at the rear. Can someone photoshop these wheel onto a silver Aristo?

Im quite sure you can't fit a 275 tyre onto a 8" wide rim (on the rear)...

I wouldn't fit a 275 on a 9" rim, let alone an 8".

Think about it: 8" rim = 203.2mm

Tyre = 275mm

275.0 - 203.2 = 71.8mm (2.8" wider or 1.4" on each side)

Asking for trouble IMHO but each to their own. Confused

Yeah I am wondering why they put 275 on a 8" width wheel. For the looks perhaps? 255/40/18 should be a better alternative, am I right?

Look, these are used wheels which Ive found for sale at one of the tyre shop in my country. It not me who want to put 275 tyres on that wheel. I knew its not the right sizes for these wheel.

IIRC RustyP put some big ass tyres on his car that had reasonably skinny rims (285's I think).

What's your combo Russ?

Great call.......

That is a really weird size to put on a 8, people normally go for stretch not the other way around, Thats prob quite un safe!! I run 245s all round on 8.5F and 9.5R, i wanted same size tyre so i could rotate easy and get more life out of them!!

Ok Ok, after all the infos u guys have given me, Im not buying the wheel. Instead, I was offered by a friend of mine who is selling a set of staggered 18" rim with 245/45/18 F and 265/35/18 R mounted on 8" and 9" width rim respectively. He use these wheel onto his R34 Nissan Skyline GT-T.
