I am wanting some new wheels for my Aristo as I have only got 17s at the moment and they just seem so small.
So I am thinking of going 19s but I can concerned about the ride quality,
Do you feel every bump in the road and is it a harsh drive?
What are the chances of damaging rims with such a low profile?
Do you loose any of the turning circle?
Sorry for the lame questions but my car is a every day car and I don't want to loose the drive ability of my Aristo.
Also what wheels do people recommend? I am unsure what color to go as my aristo is dark blue and I haven't seen many with 19s.
Thanks Tim _________________

well for wheel colour, that's really a personal thing, but a machined alloy finish seems to work with most wheel designs.
from what i've read, 19"s wont be too bad, as long as your suspension isnt rooted, and that you havnt got a crazy low ride height (and the stiff suspension that would accompany that) _________________

- ride quality really depends on the tyre itself..you can spend from $300-1200 per tyre if you want
- you do feel more of the bumps....but, i try to avoid them all....potholes etc...
- if you get a good quality rim they wont get damaged...only if you scratch them on a kerb or plow into a kerb that they will get damaged
- turning circle is poor...yes..but i doubt if it has changed much
i drive mine every day...and the 19's are fine.. ive got 245/35/19 all around on my 8.5 and 9 inch rims
for a dark coloured risto...no chrome...something in gun metal maybe...
also depends if you want a jap style rim or one from a local place around here ? _________________

i dont seem to notice any great ride discomfort at all. i have stock suspension so its a bit more floaty than coilovers and the ride is nice. feels like im riding on a bed of air
i was a bit soso about getting 19's for the same reason, but they suit the car so well and handling and ride quality seems the same to me.

NZ brand...... its called Proteca somethings, i forgot lol, but thats them on my car
19x9.5 All round with stretched 235/35 all round.
The ride is pretty stiff though especialy with lowered height and yes dodge potholes like ur life depended on it lol _________________

i have 19x9 on the front and 19x10 on the rear and coilovers and i can say it sticks to the road quite well! 19's and it starts to get a little bit of tyre noise _________________
