The plastic bit below the knob slides down to reveal the screws to get the knob off.

The woodgrain pannel unclips upward at the rear and pulls out towards the rear. You need a screwdriver or similat to pry it up at the back with some padding to avoid damage.

i've never tried, just going off what i can find in previous posts

yeah what he said Agreed

you will probably need a stubby phillips head, flat head (or trim tool if you have one like me)

slide the sleeve down, undo the 2 phillips head screws - be careful as they tend to chew out easily and the lever just pops off

then pop out the ash tray under the radio - it just pulls out

then pop the cover from the gear lever by getting a flat head screw driver (or trim tool) under the back of it and popping it up

You have to push down fairly hard. Oh and I would put it into N first and make sure that the plastic slid thing has a little space on each side B4 you do it.

Does anyone know if the Soarer gear shifter fits and works on the Aristo? I prefer the look of the Soarer shifter , not sure if this has been spoken about b4.

The only reason i think it wouldnt is because of the Aristo side button and the soarer top button selector. Just dont want to waste my money if it dont work

the side button on the aristo has a taper on it, that pushes the selector down from the top anyways, so that would pose no problem.

i would think worst case scenario it wouldnt be too hard to fit the entire soarer shifter
