Just thought I'd share my cheap grill mod.

First I bought a few packs of these chrome covers - eBay Link

Then Hey Presto!

a mate did this to his celsior but it comes off after a while
but it looks good.

Yeah they don't seem very heavy duty, only cost a couple of bucks though.

You can also just scrape the black paint off the vertical fins which looks pretty good.

i recon on silver the black looks best but on black half silver half black combo is best.

Is it really possible to scrape black colour from vertical bars? Did anybody tryed it?

I have been through 3 packs of this stuff, then I bought the 160 grill but it does need mods to fit.

on the 160 the grille is all chrome then they painted the centre section black. so you can use paint remover or whatever to strip the black off carefully to expose the chromed plastic beneath.

i am tempted to try it on mine haha but im not sure if it is the same on 147s
