Hey just wanted to let you guys know that if you have some extra energy to polish/wax your car try the new Meguiars Tech-Wax 2.0 Version.
I used to use the 1st Tech-Wax and I thought that was good... But this has got to be the best I have ever used!
It has something called Hydrophobic Polymer Technology. Hydrophobic is a term meaning water fearing. I have had wax/polish make water been in the past (Like the last Tech-wax) But this just deosn't make water beed, it just slides right off.
So I'm thinking that when you drive in rain your car will still be reasonably clean the next day.
The shine is the best I have seen, Very glass/mirror like.
Just make sure that you let if dry (in the shade of course) for a good 10mins that way it's just wipes right off. _________________

I got some too, haven't used it yet as I'm a lazy bugger and it means washing the car first (for like the fourth time this month ) Out of interest, what colour is your car? I've heard it's not too good on black, but good for metallics.
I was going to start a thread about car-cleaning and polishes etc. So far I've just got the NXT to try, but I use Maguiars Scratch-X for getting rid of those little marks, scrapes and cobwebs you get, works a treat with a few applications, as long as it's not through the clearcoat.
www.autopia.org - good place to start in detailing, lots of product placement though.
My car is Met silver, My Wife's Ralliart Colt is White and it's now VERY, VERY bright White! I thought I woun't be able to notice much differance on a white car but I was amazed.
I've posted up a pic of My Black EVO I used to own back when the 1st series NTX Gen Tech-wax 1st came out and see what you think after I used it.
It's a section on the front drivers side front panel, you can clearly see where I tested it getting rid of all the fine swirls and scratches.

how much is this polish i need to polish my car bad
Well, it's not a polish as such, in that it won't remove scratches or swirls like a polish will. It's a sealant more than a wax too, designed for clearcoat paint. It might help cover up swirls though.
Wash - remove surface contamination
Polish - smooths clearcoat surface, adds shine
Wax/Sealant - seals and protects finish and adds depth to shine.

I agree one point for you
just bought myself a tin to see how it would look. you said it yourself, it dosent remove scratches or swirls as its not a polish, its a sealant, two completely different chemicals.
What it does do is give the car a fantastic wet look.
even on a white car, the lights reflections are amplified quite a lot, much more than any other wax / polish or wash ive used.
fantastic stuff, well worth $50 if your a car nut.
I even used it on my wheels. made them much brighter and didnt even leave any swirl marks!
fantastic stuff will vouch for it _________________

(detailer by trade)this stuff is good guys have used it myself,(any colour car)
as some have said ,and i agree,it is not so much a polish ,but a top coat sealant for your paint,
it has a uv reflector type substance in it,so when done your car looks like you have removed a lot of swirling, you have,nt the product hides them,
BUT, i think the comment has already been made,DONT APPLY THIS PRODUCT IN FULL SUN,
OR OUT IN THE OPEN,and expect to get a fantasic result,(unless you want to work real hard!!)
do it in the shade,or better in your gge or carport, and again as stated ,dont be in a all fired hurry to take it off,let it dry,
and dont dispare, if the first time you use it,you get SLIGHT,light /dark patches on your main area,s
like roof ,boot, bonnet, that is just this (polish) not likeing going on top of what of what you have been useing,
after coat 2 or 3 ,these (imperfections will fade out or vanish)
this stuff is good, but this is only my opinion on the product, cheers nick..............
