Hi Just wondering if any one has used a clay bar on their car or not and if it did anything advantageous. I was wondering whether I should bother doing this before I polish my car or should I just polish it?

Cheers for any help

I paid 30 for a liquid clay bar. Does the job just gonna push down and scrub hard. comes up with a mirror like look and feel.

Definitely worthwhile - even if your car looks clean, you can feel the surface contaminants stuck to the paint with your hands. Claybar or machine polish are the only things that will get that off.
