Alright - I was going to get the two din surround for the stereo... but decided to much that i like my head unit and had no reason to buy another or get a spacer so i thought i would be creative!

and boy was it a good idea! im very happy with the design i will post a few pics up this evening if anyone else wants one its $45 for the acrylic and about $15 to get it cut out and polished.

How/ what did you use to do it in mate? I am wanting something similar, but like opposite way (DIN on bottom, gauges on top), but am still complete noob when it comes to fabricating stuff and can't find the right stuff to make it with.

thanks guys - got another pic uploading atm from my gayberry phone =.=

I used 3mm Black Acrylic - what i did was took a rough sketch of the area, then used ala Dremel cut it out, did a test fit and went... hmm.. wtf is going to go in this HUGE blank space at the bottom.. "DAMMIT IS THAT A SCRATCH?!?!"

so out came the hole saw - and wallah! hey presto nice lookin stereo surround.

Next, where the sub goes on the parcel shelf the cover is gone! previous owner broke it Sad so... i have made a piece that fits the unique squarish bit - and will be dropping it of week after next to get it laser cut "ARISTO" in the middle.. gunna pop a blue neon under it and again.. hey presto!

Will get more pics up soon.. it total... parts will cost me.. $100 and labor nothing cause i get my dad to do it all @ work lol..

Sorry Dude, but I can't really class that as a pic........more like a blur.

The photographic skills have deteriorated on this forum of late.

Please try again. Very Happy
