hey guys as stated in the title i am trying to take my front seats out and they both do not slide forwards or backwards via the switch. i have looked at the how to section where it shows to replace the cogs and saw the 12mill bolt that is said to manually move the seat. i had a go then while i had 10 minutes free and it did not seem to be moving back? and also how would i move the seat forward to reach the back bolts? thanks in advance.

Wind the 12mm nut on each side of the rail at the front, will go backwards and fowards, time consuming and a pain but it will get there eventually

turning 1 way is backwards
the other way is fowards

There are two 12mm nuts on each seat, wind them evenly in your desired direction

have wound both 12mill bolts in a tightning motion all the way at the same time which left the front bolts to the floor exposed. once winding in the other direction the nuts just come off the thread?

That never happened for me, as the nuts were tighter than the force required to wind the motor's fowards

how tight were they to wind back? they should move pretty freely

Might have to try and get the nut tighter at the front before trying to wind it foward

Hey guys, my seat cogs are broken as well and looking at just replacing the seats all together, as I'm pretty much a newbie with this car I was wondering if anyone knew of where I could source out, base rails + seats from.

or what seats are actually able to be almost a straight swap over with the Aristo?

cheers for your help in advance.

can confirm soarer seats won't fit without doing some welding effort, all in all I just bought a aristo wreck which had 2 working seats in it which has worked out to be the cheapest option...

do you have a radiator support panel in that wreck, or is it smashed in front?
