Hey guys
I'm hoping to restore my both of my headlights as they are a bit dull and have a build up of condensation. How should I go about doing this? I've read that baking the headlights at a low temp will removed all condensation. Also, I've heard of people scrubbing their headlights with toothpaste to remove the dullness that comes with age.
Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated

ok fella......if they HAVE water in them ..? they are leaking ...so best to pull them apart and do the job as best you can "PROPERLY " ...the first time..
i USE a big arse 6 burner bbq to get mine apart... ( with a lid ! ) how some other peeps have got them apart, i dont know because these ARE ....a big bloody light...!
but....a lot of your dirt / misting WILL be inside the faces as well... and of course you can remove the orange ticker cover while your at it as well. just this "mod" makes the stock 147 lights 100% better from the word go.. good luck...nick .
i used an oven for mine, 150 C chucked them in, left them for 2mins, checked the goo, then let them sit for another minute til i considered it soft enough to rip apart!
i had two immaculate headlights, on the 2nd one, i decided to drop the temp and leave it in about 30secs longer...fukd it was so cut, couldnt believe it, so make sure u check it often! _________________

I'll get onto it and see if I can post some pics later on
Just out of curiosity, how much would a brand new pair of plastic lights be?
