why play with a mines.....your better off with a full ecu or a piggy back and for half the money aswell

If your running a single turbo setup a mines isn't really worth it IMO

Can run 20psi with Stock Ecu + safc2

If your car is Bolt on's with Stock twins then it will help get the most power from the bolt on's

A series 1 Ecu will work in a Series 2 car but it the transmission won't kick down to 1st gear anymore unless going very slow / stopped

What are you trying to achieve with your car and what is your goals for the car with a mines ecu?

look on here or supraforums.com.au in the for sale section you'll find one.........tunning cost all depends on tuner and how much dyno time to adjust the ecu to your set up

here you go sav has an haltech for sale for 500 maybe bargin him down 450 or something

Boostcut is there to save your motor

I assume you have stock injectors so they should be looked at before you require another ecu.

You wont make any gains by getting an aftermarket ecu if your still on the stock injectors, and stock fuel pump. Both need to be replaced before you can make more power depending on the size of your turbo.

EDIT: You also need some sort of Fuel controller to run bigger injectors. so everything is +$$ to make more power, there is no cheap way.

Speedcut is removed when you remove the TRC Fuse Smile

Factory ECU can continue controlling the ac (and idle control amongst other things) even with a standalone ECU running the engine. If you're still auto you need to keep the factory ECU anyway so it's not an issue. Every standalone ECU can control a/c too, it's a single output to a relay, easy as.

like dvs2j stated you might wanna do all your bpu like fuel pump, tranny cooler, shiftkit exhaust, injectors if you havent done so already...........easy and cheap fix to your problems now be the mines or fuel cut defender, boost cut defender and speed cut defender..........once you have all the bpu sell the mines and buy a tuneable ecu

also plenty of cheap usdm 2j/3s 550cc injector on ebay.com sets sell as little as 150 usd

good coz retains a/c operation and idle control..

other than that, its very limited, the 2j ecu seems to override piggy-bak quiet well, so its quiet hard to get really good results, ive got a TOMS with an SAFC II which iam using for monitoring, did have a platinum interceptor, but my mate has it for now!

ill just stick with the TOMS for a while, agro as fuk n does the job well!

plus 7500 rpm limiter (stock valvetrain tho, so i wouldnt push past 7) runs outta puff by 6.8

The one bad thing I find is that as stated the stock ecu does try to fight the piggyback. But this is over come by regular ecu resets, or at least this seems to work well for me.

Where they shit all over the likes of a mines or blitz, toms etc is in actually being tuneable to suit your setup and again down the track when you do more mods.
