This Transmission has been tested in a number of full weight Toyota 1JZ & 2JZ Vehicles running in the high 8's low 9's in the Quarter Mile. ATF's Stage III A340E & A341E transmission easily handles 750- 800 RWHP.

The deal with the "stock transmission" is because it's still the factory Toyota transmission. Albeit it's been built, it's not a Ford or GM transmission in it.
Most of the guys over here, go the TH400, or Powerglide route when building something that is hoping for single digit e.t.'s. And even with it being built, going 9's in a heavy car like our 147's are, using the A340 box is pretty impressive. There have been some guys that have gone into the 8's with Supra's, using the A340 box. So they are capable. But definitely not stock.
