Hey guy's and girls,

I have a favor to ask..... I need the loan of a set of standard rims and tyres to get my Aristo over the pits for relicensing. Yes! I have missed renewing my license and when taken over the pits they have hit me with all the frivolous stuff they can think of. I wont bore you with the details, just to say I went on a Monday morning and mustve got the someone who fell out of the wrong side of the bed. http://www.jzs147.com.au/forum/images/smiles/crying.gif

Im living South side of River (Perth) but happy to go North or South to pick up and drop off.

Much appreciated.

Cheers,
Grahame

Thanks for the feedback.

I was hoping to just bolt on the standards, and leave my 18 x 9.5s just get over pits, and pass.
didnt want to buy a set of wheels and tyres, but hey gotta get the car back on the road.... im losing a couple of hours a day running the missus to and from work, plus the shopping trolley and school bus runs... she says she's never had it so good Smiley

edit it the heading of your thread, put something like "WA stock rims needed for pits" or something alike...ive got a pair of supra 16x9 rears with tires, but the tires are pretty shagged...

i do however have a set of 16x8 (i think 8" wide) duke projects in black with good front tires,..

http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/wheels-tyres-suspension-brakes-sale/76635-duke-projects-jza80-16s-rears-aristo-pair-8-5-rears.html

(aristo rims sold)

they should still be laying around the garage...try pm-ing aristoman (jamie) too see if he has anything laying around...

why are you limiting your self to only aristo stockies its rare as fuck rims already and its only for pits not like they look good bro just get a cheap set of 5x114.3 16 inch stockies someone is selling in your area would only imagine would tops cost 100 and you might get good road worthy tyres on them too

OG's got a point...when i took my uzz31 over the pits (whilst i was still in Perth) i had aristo 8.5" rears on the back and they looked factory, thumbs up off i went!!

as long as they look stock, theyll be ok! people put 300zx stockies on these too. hop on supraforums too am sure theres a couple sets of supra 16s up there!

dont limit yourself when it comes to stock rims, or stock looking rims! pits dont really care as long as it closely matches the placard and doesnt look out there!

Guys great feedback and great advice.

Yeah was pretty much restricting myself, the dude that checked the car over the pits was a class A arsehole.
I mean clean the headlight covers (and I would be one of the few that do every time I wash the car) and the window tint was a too dark, but he wouldnt elaborate on percentages .... you can see through both front windows standing from outside and see a sign clearly 100 metres away! He just wanted to fail the car no matter what.

Thanks Guys will start looking.
Cheers,

Headlight covers = headlight outer lens.

Jamie ( the legend ) Aristoman was my first port of call, unfortunately he didnt have anything laying around.

Great! I'm in Huntingdale, just around the corner....

I'm planning to get the car over the pits next week. Let me know a time that is convenient to you?
Do you have the wheel nuts for the rims? As I only have nuts for the rims I have?
If not I will chase Jamie.

Cheers,
Grahame
