settings as if in fuel correction map??

in vehicle setup you want diagonally up right, 6 cyl, pressure 01 in 01 out!

fuel correction maps, nobody is goin to give you them, simply because every car is different, maps arent transferable!

drop the boost, avoid fuel cut, get a a/m ecu or a mines/imec/blitz remapped ecu, up boost and use neo to tune.

or, just go get the car tuned the way it is at the moment!

wats upgraded twins mean? wat mods?

also vvti?? (if so it may not be pressure 1 in 1 out)

Need to Check AFR"s

No need for a mines or anything else if using a SAFC

Can run 20psi+ on a big single turbo with SAFC + 550cc Injectors.. SAFC allows you to tune around Boost cut providing your using it to lean out the mixtures

If you have upgraded Twins and stock injectors you defiantly need to have the AFR's checked and adjusted to suit. depending what sort of power it makes, 18psi could be pushing the limits of Stock injectors depending how "upgraded" the twins are

safc doesnt 'tune' around boost cut, it 'pushes' the boost cut further (higher psi ONLY if ur removing fuel, if u put fuel in it, it lowers boost cut, lower psi) by adjusting the MAP signal. (tricks ecu into thinking less/more fuel needed, ecu adjusts fueling and ignition aswell, can advance/retard timing dangerously)

id be lowering boost til boost cut doesnt cut in, then lower it a touch more, or just driving off boost til u get it tuned, you could be running very lean atm, boost cut is set to come in after 3 of 14psi or more, so you can be leaning it out for some time (3sec to a motor is alot) only takes 1 rev to break a ring land, a few more to blow a hole through a piston or put a hole in the block!

but 'upgraded' means nothing without explanation! wat else you got?

Pretty much what i said....

But you dont need a Mines ecu to run 20psi...I'v personally myself ran 22/23psi with Very safe AFR's and Seen 25psi+ and still AFR's safe with a stock ECU, SAFC and 550cc injectors. 25psi was a boost creep issue, but still no sign of boostcut

On a budget the Stock ecu works fine when combined with bigger injectors and safc

Running 20psi and seen upto 28psi before with SAFC. No boost cut issue.

Take it to a tuner.

never said you need a mines/blitz/imec/etc to run 20psi....

the advantage of a remapped ecu is that boost cut is already raised/removed. making life a lil easier, combined with a safc/emanage can be great. an safc has to be tuned before the boost cut is altered.

just remember, just because youve run 20+psi with safe a/fr's doesnt mean he can.

simply saying turn the boost down for a while . If he doesnt want to pay to tune it, get a remap, since itll give you more head room, because nobody will give him maps...thats just stupid!

Another advantage of a re-map is the better timing maps, which cant be achieved with stock ecu and a set of 550s. the stock ecu is an amazing in its capabilities!
