ok so basically it has been like this since i bought it, and i dont know how it happened, but the black part around the window; the black metal part, has seperated from the door itself, and hence is not sealing and letting air in when driving, creating a whistling effect

my questions are, how hard is it to get the surround off? i can see that there are some slips inside that are broken, but look to be moulded into this piece? also are there ppl out there that specialise in this sort of stuff?

i have taken some pics but i cant get them off my phone atm, i will upload asap

cheers Jeff

Exact same issue with me. I turn the music up to drown out the whistling Wink

Mines starting to do the same, but isn't making any noise.

I'm guessing superglue wouldn't work in this case?

Well keep us informed Very Happy
Looks like quite a few people have the same issue. I've had too many other things to worry about lately, but I'll want to fix my window too.

just for info, my window was like that before I had the tinting done and the guy didn't say anything. I might go take a closer look around that area and see if there's any noticeable imperfections... Eeek Dance
