I've got 245/35/R19 on both front and back

9" fronts - the rubber sits exactly even with the rim lip
10" rears - its pretty stretched and lip sists out further, ie no protection against curbs Eeek Dance

no problems. a friend can get some very cheap brand new 245-35-19 and i wanted to know what they would be like on 8.5 and 9.5" rims (as i dont want the rears tyres to be small and stretched!)

I have 19x9.5's on the back of mine and the 265/30's sit flush with the rim no stretching at all.

I just had a look at the chromies I had for sale and measured them and they seem to be 10inch wide all round...is this even possible? Can 10inch fit on the front of an aristo or did I just measure it wrong? I measure from right back of the rim right to the front and it came to 25cm. It has 245 tyres and they look pretty stretched.

Suprised 10" at the front. you'll need to roll your guards for sure

miggy - bit late but the width of the rim quoted in the specs e.g. 18x10" is actually the bead area and not the total overall width rim edge to rim edge. So as far as fitting tyres is concerned, your rim is probably 9 or 9.5"

alot of people go wrong like that when working out offsets, cause you need to do sums based on your rim width and people just say 'i have 10" rims so theyre 10"' when they actually are wider than that if they are advertsied as 10"...
