Hey Guys,

Just chasing after some places (and approx prices if possible) to get my rims powder coated..
Wanting the centres painted black... and there is a bit of gutter rash around the rim from the dude in Japland which i'll want to get cleaned up too... (obviously something like that they'll have to see to quote)

The rims i have are RAYS and pretty sure 3 piece (?) so they should be able to be pulled apart and painted and polished!!

Thanks heaps...

it'll be a LOT cheaper if you undo the bolts and take the centres in to get powder coated and the outer rings into another place to get fixed up.
Mine were VERY bad, so your price will obviously be cheaper.

Remove gutter rash and remove flat spot in rim : $340 - Billeau Engineering (gold coast)
Polish rims : $160 - Clean Image Alloy Polishing

Powder coating I got done by ESP fencing: www.espfencing.com.au
Didnt cost much and turned out awesome.

hope it helps!

Ben

Thanks Ben...

Apparently if the rims are forged then it could make them weaker...
i *think* mine could be forged - so maybe getting them painted might be a better option??
I spose i'll need another set to put on in the mean time (i got my other rims i got there car here with which i can use - so not road legal - so no driving for me)...

might pop in there and get prices.. Very Happy

also - have a feeling the outter rim is chrome rather then polished?!?!?! chrome cost a bit to repair?
