Hi all, my name is Gary and I have been frequenting this and the UK forum for some time, although I dont own an Aristo yet, there is hope.
I have owned the following cars

1970 XW Fairmont 302W factory air ( had it for 16 years)
1997 Series II Nissan Skyline RB25DET
1997 Audi A4 2.6lt
and now have a 1998 Nissan Maxima with only 90,000ks

I havent really owned many cars considering my age, the last 3 have been inthe past 12 months. The idea was to buy cheap and sell at a profit which I have done so far. After the Audi, I was in a position to get an Aristo (had $16500) but the daughter required braces and other bills had to be paid so I ended up with the Maxima.

I will get an Aristo if it is the last thing I do.

Gary

Welcome Gary Smile

Buy cheap and sell at a profit? Doing well if you've managed to do that for the last 3 cars.

I think half the people here don't have cars yet, so you are not alone in that!

Thanks all, yeah I have been buying and selling and making a little each time and was looking forward to getting my hands on an Aristo as they ooze class but $6k in dental work put that dream to bed for the time being.

Aaron, I have been reading your posts and checking the web myself and yes, there are some early models around so I will just have to hurry up and wait for now. Shame about having to cut up that one in Japan.

I won't tell you that i bought mine for $4500 USD here in Okinawa, as that may make you jealous. I will say that I have absolutely loved it the last two and a half years. These are exceptional cars, and i will own one in the US as well. Welcome to the forum.
