The double sided ta[e will stop the wind whooshing sound if you fill it but wont stop the warping over time

Is this up the top of the door? Its too close for me to really be able to tell where exactly it is.

Mine is coming away at the top too, if thats what this photo is of. I cant remember if it was like that when I got it or not...

edit: I see the rear view mirror... Mine is doing exactly that, but not quite as bad. Same door too.

yeah i found the same prob, and dbl sided tape is crap.... (dont u watch pimp my ride? "y'all gotta stop using tape on ya cars").

I used a black construction all purpose silicone.. works well, looks good if u do it right and yeah it has flex and wont un stick on hot days like tape (important if your car is black) common issue, my drivers and passengers doors have both done it.

And its your door mouldings not ur weather shields (theyre called monsoons over here) By the way, take the monsoons off IMO, they look like something you would find on grandmas barina... just my 2c anyway Very Happy

Mine is the saem on the drivers door, and I can see double sided tape in there which is failing, dunno if this was factory or somebody trying to fix it since.

on closer inspection you can see some metal spikes that look as though as if they lock into place. i would guess over the years of the drivers door being slammed shut, more than any other door. also the buckling of the main steel piece that runs top to bottom of the pillar is strange. any further info on remedying this is obviously highly sorted going by peoples reaction....the search continues. Crikey!!

Me too. Its really shitting me as when my window is up it creates a turbulent noise at freeway speeds!!

I think it may be caused by the weather guard shrinking and pulling the window seal away.

I need a solution too Razz I thought to clamp it with silicone filler in their. But i don't reckon it will hold
