Apologies!
My considerable lack of time has led to still no real write up or pictures of my car.... I've been busy with trying to get my old car ready to sell and just flat out with uni at the moment.
If you'd like to check out my car sometime Jay you can see how the rims fit for yourself...
Personally, i'm unsure if i'd prefer 19s or not too. 18s look big enough, but it really depends if you want big or huge.
As for feel, i think it drives beautifully on the 18s i have... couldn't ask for a better ride. _________________

18" at the front and 19" on the rear. its what i would do, if i decide to purchase a new set of wheels.
Thats very illegal over here in QLD, not sure about WA though. Even if the rolling diametre is the same, the cops will book you.
IMO, 18's with decent dish FTW. 19's are VERY nice, but they are more expensive to replace tyres and give a firmer ride due to the smaller tyre profile.
If you are changing to coilovers, keep some money aside to eventually replace the front upper and lower ball joints as well as the front lower control arm bushes. They will wear out quite quickly with a bumpy ride.
18's will look just as big as 19's if the car is dumped, so i wouldn't be worried about looks. Its really up to you though. Go to a tyre place and throw some 19's and 18's on each side and decide then. _________________

Every day use 17" min - 18inch with a width of about 10" on rear, 8" on front.
Show rims (not everyday use) Masvie dish with 9" front and 11.5" rear with some nice camber and smaller tyres that look like there painted on and tucked under the guards. VIP all the way. _________________

Yeah ... cos i put phat wheels on with big tyres because i wanted traction ... then go and put on some tyres smaller??? I like traction ... traction = faster ...
Mind you - they were on a drifter before i got them and he had stretched 235's on front and stretched 265's on the rear ...

good choice dude. any pics?
but anyway i find it surprising that people think 18"s look good on the rear of the aristo. i've never been a fan of HUGE wheels, but the rear arches of these cars just gobble 18s like a $2 whorebag..
if i had the spare cash i would be looking for some matching 19s for my car, even though my 18s are similar to what you guys say looks best (18s, 3" or so of dish and slightly stretched rubber)
Soon as your stockies become free i'll then be off to the pits and id say 1-2 weeks after that i'll be throwing the coilovers on and testing a few settings until i find the setting im happy with.
best of luck tomorrow ! _________________
