Anybody swapped out their orange compliance ones for clear ones?

Was it hard to do?

Was anyone lucky enough to score clear ones through their complier?

I have gen. toyota orange ones, but would like to switch to clear, i've seen them on corolla's and the like so the part price is probably reasonable.

be careful - if you order the clear 380 ones, you get stung about $160 the pair. Order the clear outlander ones (exactly the same!) and they're around $85!

Absolutely! Very Happy I've checked out everything they have to offer

Spent all day searching for aristo parts and there's plenty out there... for the right price.

Damn, just found the invoice for my compliance parts. I couldn't find out where my compliance guy got the indicators from, because they were not on the invoice that had all the other parts on. I think he sourced them locally, but I don't know where from.

Good luck to all with the clear side indicators, it is a big improvement, particularly on black cars. Problem is, now I need to sort the headlights so they are matching...

Since i complaniced my aristo myself, when it was getting check over, they pointed out that i didnt have side indicators fitted, they talked about it, and decided it would be a same to cut holes in the side of the car to fit indicators, hence i dont have side indicators

Really? And your compliance guy signed off on it? That is an ADR requirement that must be met. The compliance guy could lose his licence if someone inspected your car...

yeah, you must have indicators that can be viewed from a certain angle on the side of the car... Some cars have indicators built in to the headlights right on the corner, so you can see them from this angle.

Mine has what you are talking about too, but they are not good enough, you will still get the side repeater I would think.
