3 month turn around, they painted them the wrong color twice, and didn't do what I asked them to do which was fix 1 slightly wonky wheel. On the plus side, it was $300 to repair and paint 4 wheels, and they lent me 4 wheels while they had mine. And they looked alright.

Personally I'd pop down to Adelaide Extensive Wheel Services ( I think thats the name ) on South Road, they do good work. Just don't go to the dick head across the road who charges 3 times as much, is rude, and doesn't ever want any business. Rant Theres another good powder coater in Stepney as well, just behind t♦he Mobil on Magil Rd (cross the road from JMS).

alliance rim repair is the place to go.

they outsourced the powder coating of my wheels - but they did the polishing / disassembly / re-assembly in house.

had the centre's of some wheels powder coated satin black. the design had some grooves that the powder coating didn't work 100% on, but apart from that it turned out good for the price. just remember to remove your tyres before taking the wheels in or else they will charge more for that then your average tyre shop.

think it cost me $120 per wheel (18x9 & 18x10) for powder coating & repolishing dish.

For those guys in Brisbane, Wheel Revolution is the place to go. Don't know if they actually paint or powdercoat rims, but I got some rims repaired there. Very good pricing and was a quick turn around (was about a week for 4 rims, but that's what they told me it'd be...). They import wheels, sell them to heaps of places too, and do all the repair stuff in house (have a massive CNC machine and lathe out the back!). If they don't offer the service themselves, I'm sure they know someone who can at a good price... They're in Moss St, Slacks Creek if anyone's interested. Number 14 I think in a unit close to the back. Think there's a radiator place, and a custom bullbar place near em too.

Oh yeah, got a quote from Beenleigh Powdercoating. ~$80/wheel for 18's, including prep work and coating. Smile
