Hey all, joined the forums yesterday, looks like it should be a good site. Name is Ben, just moved to TAS from SA, I'm 19 and starting as an Airforce Recruit in a couple of months. Driving a Silver '96 Aristo that i picked up last wednesday. It's stock apart from lowering, exhaust, BOV and Turbo Timer. Plans for the car are a nice set of big deep dish rims, re-tinting the windows, getting my audio installed and possibly a bodykit.

Cheers Very Happy

My name is Will, I am 31 and I am thinking, just thinking maybe I will buy an Aristo (non-turbo version). I do currently have a Soarer, but undecided yet as to whether I would switch to a 4-door as I currently do not have that much stuff or that many people in my car.

I just love them for the look of them. So Yakuza.

Chickita I am in Perth. I have yet to actually drive an Aristo to see how they handle, so that's the next task. My girlfriend even likes the car, she just doesn't like the boot space. She says that for a car that large it really should have a bigger boot. I'm looking at maybe, maybe buying an Aristo non-turbo around 93/94 and preferably in White, but I would also have to sell my car to do it first. I am a regular member of SoarerCentral as well.

So I am doing a bit of research regarding fuel costs for the non-turbo Aristo's. Insurance costs combined at the moment would save me $700 for the year ($400 of it real money).

I don't have any kids and nor do I plan to in the very near future, and generally am in the car by myself or with the girlfriend so don't know if I can bring myself to buy a 4 door for now. But the car's are just awesome looking and have all the fruit the Soarer has.

Hello all

This is my first post Smile

After putting it off for too long, I have given in and finally bought a Silver 1996 Aristo 3 days ago... and i couldn't be happier.

Mine is stock except it is lower at the front. And dark tint.

Having this forum here helped me buy this car because of the extra info i found in the forum (such as how to tell which ones have LSD
Very Happy )

Its also good to know there is a community of other friendly aristo owners out there to share ideas with.

My Real name is Rob, I am 20, work in Technical Support / Helpdesk in IT and live in Newcastle , NSW.

Cheers and happy aristo-ing !!!

Afternoon All,

My names Tom ,32 ,and based in Perth working in IT Dept for electronics manufacturing company. i have turned spanners for a mate racing Porsches at Bargz raceway in Perth. we raced from 96-99 competitively in our class. I have almost finished my interest in Hi-Po vehicles and may think the Aristo is the last step before i go conservative.

My previous rides include my first car nissan 260Z, rx7 s2, N15 pulsar, mx6 turbo, 02 corolla, 05 corrola, 93 GTR and perhaps finally an Aristo. have now moved in to the comfort side of things. GTR is an absolute animal and is best appreciated on a racetrack and not on a street. the move to aristo gives both hi power and luxury as well as the reputed engine.

i hope to listen and assist to fellow memebrs where possible.

Tom.

at this point its a matter of selling my car and getting the funds from that to finance the Aristo. the car will mainly be for my wife, that said its no girls car. we have driven a few and they are night and day when stock and then modded. tey drive so nicely but whe the angry pedal goes down its daylight savings all over again. feels like your travelling in time. give me a heads up when the next meet is. i am in vic park so yeah. hope to see u guys.

Regards,
Tom.
