and finally my aristo its a 1994 tt silver. its had no love i bought it defected for too low and bald tires but man this car needed some love. ive done caster bushes ball joints replaced so many missing hoses. it was dodgy set up to run the turbos together so ive been returning to stock set up. has big front mount and 3" exhaust. its very nearly back on the road. i plan on gassing it and using as a daily work bus. i bought it cos i do about 500ks a week and wanted something comfy and fast. i look foward to getting to know you guys and this car as ive not played with turbos yet.
one last thing i know some of those cars in that list double up but thats cos i had more than 1 lol
Hi there, I'm new to the forum, my name is Tania and I'm in Sydney. I was lucky enough to get hold of a 95 Aristo JZS twin turbo back in 2007 by accident really when a family member in QLD imported a few. I had no idea about the car or what it could do. I didn't care either really as I just needed a car at the time. I'll probably horrify you all when I admit that my Aristo has been used mainly for daycare drop off and pickup down the road it did make the daycare drop off an absolute joy!! It was only when I had people stop me and comment on the car that I realized exactly what I had on my hands.
I remember when my daughter was born and we were taking her home for the first time, I was sitting in the back with her and asked hubby to please drive slowly - he just looked at me, laughed and said "this thing is as comfortable as driving a couch but it can't go slowly".
I really grew to love this car and liked the fact that there were not many around. I also enjoy having a chuckle when people ask me about it and question me on why someone like me (a suburban mum) would have a car like this
Anyway, I'm actually selling it now for an absolute bargain as I have a more "suburban mum" car and have no space to keep garaging it. I'm sure potential buyers will get a laugh out of my complete ignorance of the awesomeness of Aristo's that I had when I first bought it. I just want it to go to someone who will have fun with it and enjoy it in the way it should be enjoyed.
when ur ready to sell, id love to come have a look at it, contact me on 0405 067 013 am located next to olympic park.
Hi Soti, Its actually listed on Carsales at present if you want to have a little stickybeak. Its one of only 2 that are for sale in NSW on that site and I think the ony one thats not been modified (yet). Check it out. Ive listed at a very good price because Im just not sure about the demand for these things. I just dont have room for it anymore and I guess people dont really go looking for them to buy unless they know about them already or have plans to use one as a modification project. You can always contact me after youve looked at the ad, Im in the Sutherland Shire.

Hi All
My name's Caleb I'm 24 living in Sydney. Working in the Navy as a Marine Technician.
Just brought my first JDM turbo car A 1994 Black Aristo.
After years of anticipation I have my first JDM car. I brought it off a close friend who pretty much taught me to drive again in return for lifts to work over a period of 12 months. He noticed I really wanted to become better so he taught me (my driving was terrible before). Towards the end of the Aristo's road life when it was with my mate it developed a bottom end knock courtesy of the previous owner before my mate. The Aristo was stored in various places over the next few years with the engine slowly being scaled down preparing for a rebuild. In the end my mate had to move interstate so I brought the Aristo from him. The car requires a full rebuild so instead of restoring it I have decided to do a complete upgrade: GTX3582R 0.82 A/R housing, CP pistons, Tomei rods, 272 BC cams, BC Ti retainers and springs, Tomei cam gears, ACL gasket & Bearing kit, custom stainless exhaust, MV Autos shift kitted tranny, 1.5 way diff. Haltech PS2000 ECU with harness. My goal is a reliable 600HP ATW. I want to assemble this car myself with all the machining done by a machine shop (starting an Engine refurbishing course in July maybe do it myself if I have access to machines) once I have the garage turned into a workshop. Engine will be out in a month or two so I can inspect the crank journals and tidy up the Engine bay and fight off all of the spiders, tranny is coming next week. parts will be up for sale once I have the donk out. Looking forward to making a build thread for my car and learning a thing or two from you guys.

Hey mate
Not just yet. I will have the engine out in a couple of weeks to inspect the crank. I will start selling parts not required once its out and I can inspect the condition of the whole show. After that will have it cleaned and slowly build it hoping to finish the donk by the end of the year. Will start looking for a turbo early next year along with an exhaust. planning to go with a GTX3582R.
Ok, I only came onto this forum very recently but have owned my aristo since import in 2007. Its now sold and I'll be parting ways with it this weekend. Im moving on, very reluctantly. Ive really enjoyed reading all the info here and have so much respect for all of you who have so much knowledge.
I'll always have a soft spot for the amazing car that is the Aristo and I hope I get a warm tingly feeling when I see one on the road (as opposed to extreme jealousy and regret for letting mine go).
Hi All
I have been on here a bit over the years so thought that I better introduce my self, My name is Andrew from NZ and have a jzs147 turbo.
Its not modded that much as its my ever day car and need to keep normal insurance. but heres what I have done so far
1, big exhaust no cats 3inch into 2x 2.5inch 3inch mid pipe and custom ss dump pipe (quiet)
2, Front mount intercooler
3, Getrag 6 speed, custom gear stick hump
4, B03B big diff
5, supra 4/2 Big brakes
6, 17 inch supra factory mags
it been running in that configuration for about 5 years now and been very good
Currently fitting a fresh reconditioned motor and painting the engine bay and the body (windows out) and just getting it all back to mint condition.
I also have a emanage ultimate to fit later to tune it up a little
My other car is a 400rwkw RZ supra
I'm Joris and I live in Belgium
Joined here because this looks like the most specific forum about the JZS147
I have a Lexus GS300 with the 2JZ-GE engine
81 500 km's and complete stock
Looking for some nice 18-20 inch wheels and coilovers in the future
Now I'm driving a Lexus IS200 and my previous cars where a Honda Civic 1.6 (non-vtec d-series) as my first car and a 1993 Nissan 200sx (CA18DET) after the civic
I really miss the turbo sensation so that may also be a plan for the future, turbocharging the 2JZ-GE or swapping it for a 2JZ-GTE, prefering manual then as well

Hey Joris, welcome to the forums! Looks like a really clean car you've got there!
Feel free to post up a build thread with your progress as you mod the car. We dont see too many NA JZS147s converted to turbo here in Oz, most of the ones here already have the 2jzgte.
Bumping this thread. Names Andrew been around for a very long time but lurked. Having bought all my other dream imports (skyline, soarer) at various stages now on the hunt for an aristo. Have to sell my VS Clubsport to fund the dream but will mean a whole new world.
Edit: Just went through my profile and saw my posts from way back in 2008. Ah to be 19 and stupid again haha.

Hey Everybody
My names Brandon, I live in Christchurch New Zealand and own a 92 Aristo 2jz-ge. Not only is it my daily but my first car.
Hoping to put up a bit of a "build thread" so will post up pics and specs when the car is clean
gets a bit dirty being my daily but I try to keep it as clean as possible hahah
Anyway hope to gain some advice and share the build with everyone
even though those N/A's cop a bit of ridicule around here for being slow, they are a great car, a perfect daily, and, even in N/A form, they still make as much torque as an old wrx!
congrats on the car, looking forward to following your build!! _________________
Hello all.
My name is Tim I'm form Victoria.
Just last week bought my first aristo a 93jzs147.
I have had a fair few cars over the years etc but decided to sell them up and get
A nice cruiser with a bit of power also. Its my first aristo/jdm toyota... So it's all a bit new to me haha
It's a dead stocker. With only 90,000 on the clock.
Plans are some wheels and coil overs for now.
Anyways thought I would introduce myself here first.
Cheers
