I was lucky that I read the article in HPI today, so I knew what they were talking about.

The V12 is out of the Toyota Century. The only Japanese production 12cyl ever made. The Century is basically hand made; think Rolls Royce. It is a Japanese market only model used as a Limo for diplimats and businessmen. It was designed for smoothness rather than power. So for Top Secret man 'Smokey' it was no mean feat, firstly getting the thing inside a Supra, twin turbo charging it and mounting the radiator in the boot. (Cos they ran out of room with the intercooler in the front!) There are 2 ducts on each side of the car where the rear quaterpanel glass used to be which assist in venting the radiator!

Enjoy.

Chris

Was a good article. I wonder if you could fit the V12 in the Aristo....

The really weird thing is that a mate of mine had me looking for a 1GZ engine for around 12 months before we found one, we then found another one within a week of finding the first one. Both engines are getting boosted and going into JZA80s and both engines arrived probably 6+ months before Top secret made this car public in Option Mag over there!

Bizarrely coincidental!

He is a good mate of mine. The car really goes too, i mean it would have chopped my LS400 HARD.

It will be featured in HPI shortly, had the shoot a couple of weeks ago.
