Yeah...

Was considering acquiring a hood ornament for my 'risto... Just to add a bit of class, hah. I think you can get Junction Produce ones, or maybe it was Garson, but one of them make them. I think if you scoured eBay you'd probably find a heap of unique ones from real early model cars (eg, 1940's and earlier). Think I saw some big swans on there, but they were designed for trucks and fkn massive, lol, so didn't get one, but also saw some vintage naked chick on one which would have looked kinda cool once polished up.

Anyone else have this idea? Anyone actually find something they like, and fit it? Pics needed for proof!

I don't know, I'd go for an animal of some type, but I can't even think of any animal Toyota has ever had as a mascot... Would be cool to get a lil cherry blossom or something...

I couldn't do that at my place. It would be ripped off the car in less than a day.

lots of the companies do badges and ornaments. Junction Produce, Fabulous, Wald, etc etc.
i think JP do most of the larger more 1940s style ones which stand right up.

you can get them from Vendors based in the US but i dont think theyre cheap being JP!

You sure you wanna do this....?

Personally I can't stand them but I know it's a individual thing.

My Great Uncle used to have trotters (as in horse and buggy), on his bonnet of every new car he bought....brand new falcon, off with the ornament from the trade in and on to the new car Suprised

I think that's scarred me for life.
