Hi,

Having problems replying to the post about the clear side indicator;
If you guys got Magna ones which were put in by RAWS imports, just buy the clear ones from the 380's for about $12.95 each (it also comes with the orange globe & fits straight in). I changed my about 6 months ago.

Very Happy

JZS747 - On your car, was the cuts in to the guards sealed in any way, or was the metal exposed when you removed your lights? Were your lights mounted straight?

Buy them at any mistubishi spare stores. there's cut out in side the panel; it's a push in fitting type and they fit straight in with the clear one. Just remove one of the indicator and being it to the store to make sure (that's I did).

i am looking to replace the left globe on my indicators. how do these fit into the fender? are they clip in or do i need to remove the wheel arch cover and unscrew some retaining bracket behind the indicator? also thinking of the clear type also.

They just clip in mate. Use a flat screw driver to remove it but becareful not to damage your paint job.

chickita have you got pics of yours with the clear ones one? i went to fix the bulb last night and popped out the indicator, not that hard really. was 10pm and the neighbours thought i was breaking into my own car with the noise going on..turned out to be a dodgey crimp from compliance and not a blown bulb. dunno how they stuffed that up. all good now and looking to do the clear lens mod. jodes..pic?

Here's a pic from Yesterday...
(for some reason the foggy looks really yellow in the pic - yuk... i think its a reflection from the yellow lines on the cement)

The clear indicators make a huge difference to the overall look compared to the orange ones..
I did the same to my old Supra too - changed all the orange indicators to clear!

SOLD!!!...def doing it to the wifes car..looks much better than the orange ones. with the indicators inside the headlight cluster, is yours a clear bulb with a coloured filament or a white bulb with a coloured cover? mine has one of each...strange. i prefer the cleared out look.

If the indicators in the headlights look like Chickita's, which are stock, it is supposed to be a clear bulb, with a clear filiment. The is an amber colored bit of plastic in front of that, which makes the beam of light colored, and you can see that even when the indicator is off.

In Japan, companies sell 'crystal lights' - that have been opened up, and had the amber plastic removed, you then run an amber bulb instead:
