PHR Stage 2 (GT62) Turbocharger

The PHR Stage 2 turbocharger can make up to 650 RWHP at 29 psi of boost pressure. The Stage 2 has very fast response and more midrange torque than the GT60. Perfect for street or road race cars wanting a bit more power on the straightaways.
Price: $1350 Std. Bearing, $2050 Ball-Bearing USD

they're a beautiful thing Very Happy

Fair enough, there are some good results to be had with the cheap chinese stuff - but I also know several customers of mine who have had their $2500 turbo lunched by slag off the welds of the chinese manifolds - and the welds had been cleaned up by a "pro"

some things aren't worth skimping on imho

The PHR turbo's aren't water cooled though are they?? only oil cooled ...

thats the only thing I had against them ... that and there is no proof the manifold will fit a RHD JZA80, let alone an Aristo ...

But yeah - Stage 2+ with GT67 - PERFECT!!

The Aristo Manifesto project in HPI was a bit average this month...
Detailed how to maximise your boot space so you can get four drift tyres into it.

just what I need.............

Maybe they are fabing up a new turbo set-up and it's taking some time. Confused
Hopefully anyway. Very Happy

Spoke to grant from Otomoto a couple of days ago and as he has left the editors chair of zoom (and also Ben from HPI) they are unsure if the soarer will continue to be in Zoom (and the Aristo in HPI).

Asked him about the KKR twin kit and how it is going on the soarer. He has been driving it for a couple of thousand kms now and says there are niggling problems they are working on. One is lag...

But he said they will be testing smaller turbos (330's?) and showing back to back results.

They are working on a kit to be ready by the end of the year and their aim is for instant response with big top end as well.

Can't wait!!
