I just have to ask...
Maybe i'm not driving her "properly" (ie. hammering it), but I don't think I've ever experienced any of the 'cuts' that are tossed around...
Speed Cut - Just havn't taken her to 180+ yet... Hit around 175, that's it. This is a fuel cutting off ? At what level is the cut?
Boost Cut - This is when what? You Overboost? And then what gets 'cut' exactly? Fuel again?
Fuel Cut - From what? Doing what?
Thanks guys _________________

The speed cut is at 180 officially, but often you'll go to 186 or even a little more before you feel the cut. You'll know when you do, cos you'll shit yourself thinking the engine died
the boost cut you'll notice as well, but unless you've increased the boost you're very unlikely to experience it. The fuel gets cut, I think at around 1 bar of boost (14.4psi)
The fuel cut is also the boost cut, they're one and the same The boost triggers the fuel to be cut

Ahh.. so "Fuel Cut" = Boost Cut
N there is no more electronic "cuts" ready to trick ma poor soul into thinking my engine just died on me? That's OK then...
My Boost is definately higher, I thought it was around 15psi, but thats just on my seat-of-pants boost meter, so I guess I still could be under 1bar.
If it is, awesome Means i can up it more! LOL _________________

Speed cut only happens at 180, so you wouldn't see that if you haven't been there.
Boost cut = Fuel cut = cuts boost and fuel at 14 psi. If you have a boost controller of some kind, all you are left with is the fuel cut above 14psi. A fuel cut defender stops this from happening so you can boost above 14psi with a boost controller and still get fuel delivered, although, only at a predefined rate.

on my car, boost cut was hitting at below 1 bar (probably 0.9 - 0.95). it can spike to well over this, but the cut would only come in after holding above this figure for about 1 - 2 seconds. you know when it comes in because you almost kiss your asshole
