Okay, I pulled off my toll card reader and useless old school GPS sensor, but they left sticky crap on my dash, like when you peel off a sticker.
Are these dashes actually leather or some sort of vinyl? Has anyone else had good results with any particular products?
I have a bottle of De-Solv-It here at work (sorta like orange power, citrus based cleaner) which tears through sticky stuff, but it leaves residue and says "DO NOT USE ON LEATHER!" on the bottle. I was going to try diluting it 10-1, then trying it on a small area underneath but if anyone has a better suggestion that works I'll try their idea first.
edit - also heard diluted vinegar solution will work?

At work I've found a really awesome cleaner called "Oomph". I dripped a little onto a laptop that had previously had double sided tape all over it and it disolved the residue before I even wiped it. _________________
