OK. So I have a Veilside kit. The front bumper had the brackets for the number plate screwed in so that the plate sat infront of the intercooler intake. I have since filled the holes as the brackets were a bit dodgy and the holes had kinda splintered the f/glass.
Anyway, I am asking your opinion/advice in how I mount my slimline plate? I want it to look good, but don't want to effect the cooler too much. I also went and stenciled Veilside on the intercooler, which I think looks good, but with the number plate in the way???? I also actually like the bumper. I thnk the front will look good all shiny. maybe the plate will spoil it.

Oh and don't forget, to throw into the mix, I have a choice of a black and white plate or a pink and black plate! LOL.

Cheers

Chris

mount it like the skylines, drift plate all the way, off to one side and up in the corner of the intercooler cutout using L bracket so it points up not down

Obviously an option. I have seen your pic, but to be honest, I am not sure? No offence either.

I am really thinking that I might get it all painted up and on etc and then see how I feel at the time.

Confused Confused

offset, or maybe laid flat on the bottom of the air dam? (though that only works well with stenciled on numbers i guess)

double sided tape u mean? sounds like a nice plan.

Normally, im a massive fan of the offset look with the slimline plates.. but unfortunately that veilside bumper seems to lack an obvious place to put it. Too much across and you're gonna block those foggies, and it will look weird. Maybe the very side of the intercooler (center) section would be my best compromise too...

the veilside kit looks good in silver. I didnt really rate it on my car in the black.
I want to get rid of my veilside side skirts, so if you boys are after L/R ill have mine up for sale in the future. Smile
Oh, and def off to the side. Maybe look at some of the Jap VIP vids or vipstylecars for some inspiration?
