Murphey's law, if he covered that hole by moving it, another hole would appear at the top. Smile

So does anyone know if the front/rear badges come off easy enough?
I have Lexus ones on my car, and personally would prefer it to be a Toyota Smile

I was tossing up the idea about getting some custom badges made up.. but not sure when and if that will happen..
I would love to have some 'lextacy' ones, but they're like $50usd each from america plus postage...

Chickita. Your front one you'll need to sell with your grill, or swap with somebody else, becaue the L and the T badges are different, the grill bit behind them is too.

The rear badges will come off with some fishing line.

Bugger.. my front grill is pretty dodgy...
Looks like they tried to paint it, and paint kept peeling off (they didnt sand it), so they stuck black contact on it...
Will try pulling it off this week sometime.. and since they didnt sand the grill before painting, it still looks shiny, hopefully with some turps it'll come up good..
If that is the case will see about swapping it with someone...

have had people already offer to swap my badges with the toyota ones... but will see, cause i know people pay a fair bit for the Aristo ones ($700ish, are they new though?).. and dont wanna short change myself! haha

Yeah, I heard fishing wire works a treat.
Heat + fishing wire is probably even better!

So why swap for lexus badges? Confused Its like putting Chev badges on a holden or a GTR badge on a normal GTS Skyline or better yet putting ralliart etc...etc.....and the list of wannabies goes on! Lexus is just branding crap for the US market....I'm keeping my Toyota badges where they belong and that's not in the bin!

KEEP THE TOYOTA OVALS Razz

Do the genuine lexus badges come with double sided tape to attach them or do they require an adhesive of some description?
