yep, glue.
a strong epoxy of some sort and then clamp it overnight

some people have had a go at this with mixed results. I can only remember Mooty off the top of my head. maybe ask him?

I priced up all new clips from Toyota, pretty cheap, but that's a major pain in the ass job as there is adhesive and all sorts. I'll do it if I ever get resprayed though.

epoxy mmmm, bit strong, might rip the paint if it ever comes off?

there is a glue called contact, you apply it to both sides let the air dry a little and it gets really sticky

i used to be a carpet layer, and its a very strong all purpose glue, when it sets it dont set 100% solid, its partly flexable,

im not saying its the best idea, how are they put on originaly?

You can buy the door trims direct from Toyota - However don't expect them to be cheap - About $400 a door I read somewhere. It's best to try fix them up using a very strong adhesive.

I really should get around to doing mine sometime.

Nick - Are you talking about the actual weather-shield or the door trim?
