No offence mate, and dont take this the wrong way...... But you musnt have seen many wheels for Koya's to be the best you've seen quality wise!
They are great looking wheels, but definately entry level quality.
unfortunately i have, say's alot about the cheap shit we get in aus day in and day out.
brand wise ive sold - Speedy, Gmax, ROH, BSA, G2, XHP, Koya, Motegi, Dub, American Racing, Enkie, Avanti, Millenium, Lenzo ect ect ect dude, Beaurepaires isnt huge for rims around australia im sure you can admit, but in WA our Melville branch was #1 for rims 6 years running
and hate to say it - short of driving on Enkie wheels koya would be one of the top for me
in my experience they have a lowest return rate (number of customer comming back because they shake the car or have some defect in the design). they have good runnout (alot of wheels sold belive it or not arnt acctualy 100% round), they ballance up well(can be attributed to my tyres slightly ) and have great fitmets(offset) and finishes.
for the look i wanted i could spend 10K or more on 3peice japanese love
or get these that were sitting on my shelf ... haha needless to say freebies = win

mabe im just lucky eh
Sorry to say it but most if not all wheels you can buy in wa shops are china made SHIT! You are comparing shit with shit, if you compared those wheels to the likes of work or ssr, then you would see the difference. Now, there isnt anything wrong with them if your only after cheap street wheels in lame offsets. But to come out and say they are the best quality wise...thats a statement i cannot agree with _________________
yeah umm totaly agree that Work and SSR are top brands
have fitted up and sold a few sets of Work and i love them to bits
im sure amongst us there are a few wheel conisours who feel that japanese handcrafted 3 peice wheels are a must buy as they are lighter and much better designed. but i have to say most of the guys ive met from the forums and out and about are more focused on good looks and drivability.
so yes as you said comparing shit to shit (not that i agree at all) i would preffer to give them advice on a wheel in there price range
and again i do say, i have no issues with Koya i love them and rate them very highly.
i shouldnt have said "THE" best
i know this is not my original arugment, but im just looking to clarify i didnt say they were the best wheels ever in creation, although they are one of the best that i can comment on (as i have sold a great enough quantity to have a valid opinion) - i conceed there are better wheels out there.
First Round and Black JZS:
You boys are BOTH absolutely 100% correct in your statements and kept the shit talk totally out. This is why I love JZS147.com Intelligent conversations with good outcomes.
Koya are The BEST of the worst in my eyes. Its like going to a Drag show, and pointing out 'Urethra Franklin' and saying "she is the Best looking Tranny in here".
Its true, but I personally wouldnt want to take IT home.
I come into the 5% of Conessoirs on this site when it comes to wheels, but if i was looking for some drift Hacks i would DEFINATELY run some Koya's, with spacers.
p.s: I run 3 piece Hand crafted Works. _________________
