Yeah that's fine jamie... it should be optional thats all... if i dont want to put the restraints in, i can't put a seat in. I can live with that.
Imagine if you had to pay extra to refurbish that air puri craptaption for your compliance... even though u were gonna rip it out anyway.
Money for nothing.. it's gay. _________________

So retarded.
Sif i'm gonna ever be holding a child seat in.
you think you've got it bad, try installing the fu(kers
Exactly my point! You guys hate it, and we hate paying for it.
Should be an option, not some kind of compliance requirement. Gheyyyyy _________________

I'm of agreement with Rus, they should be optional. But I would still have it done, since who knows what will happen in a few years time. Life can take you in new directions quickly. Thats enough philosophising from me
Hardly impractical or optional as its a necessity as stated by the ADR guidelines number: 34/01

3 Child Restraint Anchorages fitted in rear parcel shelf using gcscra3 brackets & crabp top plates.
Last thing id want is some bush monkey drilling holes in my parcel tray he has NFI what they're doing....Easy solution remove them and keep them in a place you'll remember and just get some plastic lugs to cover them over... Sorted
BTW: air puri is crap and im never going to change my view on that
Glad you enjoy installing them Ben _________________

oh yeah - any damage to the parcel shelf will definitely be seen, as they have to install 3 child restraints on it - meaning theyhave to remove the trim etc to get to it.
that child restraint thing is gay fk that
and why do you say that??
just the fact that you have to put 3 in, like seriously just put one in and thats it. OR none. it shouldnt have to be an issue to get a car licenced just because you need a child restraint.
when you have a child and need a baby seat, it should come with that and then have it fitted.

They're obviously available to purchase, and plenty of people know how to install them properly as they do it all the time.
The point we're trying to make is that they shouldn't be an essential ADR requirement. It should be that if you want to use a seat, you need properly mounted restraints. If you do not use a seat, you shouldn't need them installed.
The brake lights thing is retarded too. They are required to cut them so they cannot be reused. I did reuse them, but wow it was a bitch~! _________________

hahaha, me too. And i was pissed as well, until i found out why we have to. If the inspectors do a spot check and find out that they can be reconnected, then the shop can loose its right to comply the vehicle. If that happens to too many shops, then no one can comply them. personally, that would be great cause i want to be unique _________________
