Im planning on debadging my Aristo.
Alot of people down here have no idea what the car is, so just wanna confuse them more by debadging her Very Happy

Is the Aristo logo between the tail lights stuck on with adhesive or are they more of a pain to take out?

yes, its a pain.

Ive already tried to and found that you need to heat the part up in the oven, much like the headlights, in order to get to the aristo lettering. Its a sealed unit with the OEM gasket crap.

I gave up. Plus, who knows what an aristo is anyway Razz

Instead i just put a lexus badge on the front grill. Just to confuse a little more. Confused

EDIT: of course my front bar looks a little different to the stock ones, so i can get away with having an aristo rear end and GS300/Merc looking front end.

Mine and chickita's cars came with a large sticker, that covers the entire rear garnish, which has cutouts for the center brake lights. Somebody is selling these over in Japan, and you wouldn't know unless you are really looking for it.

My USDM ones there is nothing there at all.. Though I have seen some with GS300 inlaid where the Aristo is on JDM lights, the ones ive got its empty... I don't believe there is a sticker over it - there just isn't anything there.

Damn - you have the cut out for the boot lock..
I dont have a boot lock on the back - have to open it from the inside..

I want to take my V300 that it has on the left hand side..
dont wanna do it incase it looks like shit in the end though..
Will have a look at it at some stage though....

Dont think i could take the badge off the rear (well leave it debadged)- cause the spoiler has a lil indent thingy where the badge sits in, and if it wasnt there it'd look funny..
I do want a custom badge made up though.. thats an option a lil later i guess! :p

I've just fitted these Hiro tinted covers on mine, just need to remove the badges next, you can just about make out the ARISTO logo below if you look closely.
