1 - Pull rear seats (Will have to remove/loosen child restraint clips)
2 - remove rear parcel shelf.
3 - remove speaker.

Quite simple and takes about 20 minutes max to do.

Screws? Who uses those..

Just some double sided tape works wonders - acts as a gasket as well to seal the sub.

And yes - Ditch that stupid air puri already Very Happy

Done this today, peice of cake. I though I would save some weight taking out the air purifier, turns out it weighs about 2/5 of fuck all.

I just used some window/door seal foam around the circumference of the sub to stop the rattling.

$50 for the sub can't go wrong really

I went in to the store and they had 1 left on the shelf. The price on the shelf was about $100 but I thought what the hell, still cheaper than anything else. Took it to the counter it was $49 and the guy said 'shit, they have come down a bit'.

So grab one while they are still there as it looks like a limited product/price

These fit in with the stock air puri yeh?

I'm unsure whether I should go that and sell my current sub, so I can keep the airpuri (for the wank factor) or whether I should just rip it out and stick my current sub in. It's a special "open air" sub for putting into non-enclosed (or large) spaces, which the boot is. That cheap one seems alright tho.. 250wrms... tho the Re is quite low

the only thing i dont like about the risto boot is the flaps in the lower left, which i assume is for venting potential fumes from the tank! i stuck my Type X and M850 amp in the boot, bootlid rattled off its nuts, but since the boot isnt sealed (vents and the sub in the shelf isnt there) it wasnt loud enough!!! all the wiring is there so am looking for a free air sub......coz i need boot space coz missus is in a wheelchair....may have to pop into J-car soon!
