ok the black outer garnish on the doors just woundering if anyone knows were to get them from with all the clips on it? i tried castle hill toyota and yeah they want a fair bit for them any help would be great thanks

I got all the clips priced up from Rory @ R&B NZ about a year ago (not the whole surround though, mine look a little haggard - I'll try and find the email with prices and part #'s) but I decided against actually doing it because everyone I've spoken to including panelbeaters and other body shops say it's a complete pain in the arse, because they're clipped AND glued and putting new ones on means re-gluing etc etc. I might do it if I ever get a respray done.

Keep us posted on how you go though as the wind noise still shits me sometimes. Especially if you find someone in Adelaide who can do it properly for not much $ Smile

yeah if you could find that email that would be great thats the reason i im doing it as im getting a respray done

I did one of mine about a month ago.. It wasn't actually too bad to do. Just used some quicksteel to reglue the metal trim to the plastic.

That said it still didn't go back 100% - It still was a big improvement over how it was before..

yeah was going to do something like that but figured since im getting a re spray might as well make the car look top notch.

ok so ive ordered some clips from toyota should get them soon hopefully this fixes the problem will let you guys know
