The clear plastic surround that has the gear indicator gate on it on my aristo has quite a few scratches on it (Im guessing the previous owners must have put something there on a regular basis).

Any suggestions on what product/polish I can use to get these out (besides elbow grease)?

Anyone else had the same issue and had some success with a certain method/product?

Not sure if you get the Meguairs range of products in Aus, but they do a specific plastic polish called Plastx, meant to be highly rated, I haven't used it yet, but is also meant to work wonders on the yellowy plastic headlights.

Meguairs Website

Looking at their site, you guys do have it.

Megauirs Scratch X is the goods for headlights as is the Plastic X which is specific for headlights as mine have never looked clearer Very Happy Mate reccomended these products and never looked back.

Should be able to polish out no probs with alot of patience as only like $15.00 a tube.

I would try the plastix and scratchx on a small area off to the side first, just to make sure they wont mark it.

If you want to try something less abrasive Plexus is very good. But wont take out deep scratches.
