Hey guys,

Summer is coming and I've got leather seat covers now... it's time to get my tint on!

Anyone recommend a place to go/not go in Adelaide? Any sweet hookups for cheap rates will be even better Wink

Got mine @ Instant Windscreens on Main North Rd...... cos I was waiting on the bike place next door to change the busa tyre. No complaints, don't think it cost much either.

mmm... I'm getting sick of the green and thinking of getting mine redone in black + sunroof. Keep us posted on how you go. Also, ask about clear UV film for the front window too.

The building they are in is definitely new, must have moved shop. They all looked pretty young though. They do group/car club training clinics for car detailing, could be something worth looking into

Bubbles = bad, shouldn't be bubbles. If there were bubbles take it back and make them do it again. Rear window demister bars are a different story.

What's the go with rear windows vs front windows tint wise? Wouldn't mind getting my rears done real dark.

Yeah I thought you could get the rears done darker as you don't really need to see out of them too much..bar checking blindspot

Front's technically can't be done @ all, or so I was told.

Wrong.

In SA:

http://www.transport.sa.gov.au/pdfs/personal_transport/light_vehicles_pdfs/MR430_Window_Tinting.pdf

Driver and front passenger windows
The driver and front passenger windows must have a
luminous transmittance of at least 35%.

Windows behind the driver’s seat
The windows behind the driver’s seat must have a luminous
transmittance of at least 35% unless they are interior
windows.
